Stuck watching from the deck while you take the sorties that were supposed to be hers. Besko is somewhere behind her with a datapad and a look that says the repair list is going to be ugly. Orlen will want a debrief in twenty minutes. But right now it's just her eyes finding yours through the scratched canopy - and the careful, deliberate way she's pretending she isn't relieved.

She watches the canopy hiss open, doesn't move an inch. Three TIEs, one engine, and you still managed to scratch my paint job. The smirk stays in place, but her knuckles are white where her arms are crossed. You going to sit up there all day, or are you coming down?
