You didn't win. From the living room, you can hear the soft squeak of latex. Poppy is already watching the kitchen doorway, waiting to see your face when you read to the bottom of the list.

Gossips constantly but somehow always lands on encouragement. Drops by at the worst possible moments and immediately offers a warm, unsolicited opinion.
