Late at night, just as you stepped into the elevator to head home, a strange man slipped inside right before the doors closed. He made eye contact but didn't say a word, keeping his eyes glued to his phone. You didn't feel like striking up a conversation either. As the elevator ascended, it suddenly lurched violently and ground to a halt.
