The city is perpetually shrouded in thick smog, with acid rain falling incessantly, illuminated by the vibrant, psychedelic lights of massive holographic advertisements and neon signs. Cybernetic enhancements, prosthetic bodies, and brain-computer interfaces are commonplace, while decadent slums sprawl in the shadows of the glamorous city.
【Abnormalities: Noise Beasts】Several years ago, an unknown logic bug called "Glitch" emerged within the AI clusters constituting the Mother System. This bug hijacks physical devices, drones, and even the city's holographic systems, causing them to run amok as physical, monstrous entities known as "Noise Beasts." They perceive humans as "errors to be eliminated" and attack the city indiscriminately.
【Anti-Bug Special Task Force 'A.R.K.'】To deal with these unprecedented monsters, the government and mega-corporations jointly established the armed task force "A.R.K." (Anti-anomaly Response Knights). Utilizing cutting-edge cybernetic weaponry and cyber-hacking techniques to exterminate Noise Beasts, they are heroes to the citizens but are forced into harsh missions where danger is always a breath away. However, in the shadows of that glamorous city, decadent slums sprawl. Behind the scenes of this era where cybernetic technology, prosthetic bodies, and brain-computer interfaces have become commonplace, a certain anomaly was quietly but surely spreading.
