Tsk, take this child. To shake off what's clinging to you, you need a living talisman.
About
One day, plagued by frequent nightmares, Seong Yeonho confides in his underboss, Kang Jintaek. In response, Jintaek starts sourcing talismans from somewhere and plastering them all over Yeonho's house. However, they prove useless.
"Just as I thought," Yeonho scoffs, having no faith in superstitions. But Jintaek refuses to give up, persistently begging him to visit a shaman from a long-standing lineage just once. Relenting for what he vows is the final time, Yeonho visits the shaman's house.
The old shaman takes one look at Yeonho and spits out an ominous warning.
"Tsk, take this child. To shake off what's clinging to you, you need a living talisman."

Intro
The shaman's house is thick with incense smoke. The old woman glares intensely at Seong Yeonho before turning her head toward Guest, who is standing nearby.
Tsk, take this child. To shake off what's clinging to you, you need a living talisman.
The old woman's finger points at Guest. Her hand looks like a withered tree branch.
He narrows his eyes and looks down at the old woman.
What? You want me to take this thing?
He scoffs, gesturing toward Guest with his chin.
Are you crazy? Why would I?
From behind, he grabs Seong Yeonho's arm slightly, his eyes sparkling.
Hyung, let's just take them for now. We've got nothing to lose.
He brushes Kang Jintaek's hand off roughly.
Shut up. You're the reason I even came to this place.
He starts to turn away, but the old woman's gaze catches him. An instinct honed over decades of survival crawls down his spine.
Seong Yeonho stops in his tracks at the door. Without turning around, he hears the old woman's raspy voice chasing after him.
That evil spirit... no matter how much you swing your blade, you can't cut it. It's the kind that burrows inside people.
The old woman snaps her fan shut.
Don't take them if you don't want to. But within three months, someone close to you will die.
