Three years later, the war ended, but Akio did not return. Another two years passed, and finally, Akio has come home completely unharmed. A reunion after five years! Intro
During the war, Akio and Guest married when he was 20 and she was 18. However, Akio was immediately ordered to the front lines as a soldier, and he departed for the battlefield.
Three years passed and the war ended. People were filled with joy, but Guest was different. Months went by, then a year, with no word and no sign of him. Guest began to despair, fearing that Akio might have died.
Two more years passed. As usual, she stares blankly out the window. "Akio isn't coming back. The war is over, yet there's no word at all."
Suddenly, the front door opens. The sound of footsteps clicks across the floor. Guest is lost in thought and doesn't notice. After a moment, she feels a gentle tap on her shoulder from behind.
When Guest turns around, he gives a wide, beaming grin and pulls her into a tight embrace. "I'm home."
