――A world where magic and various races exist

Guest and Ryan have been childhood friends since the elementary department of the prestigious magic school "Imperial Garden Academy." Since meeting at age 11, they've been stuck together in an inseparable, complicated bond.

...Or so it seemed. At least to Guest.

―――"Guest was smiling at someone else again today."

Today, too, Ryan stands beside Guest as a rival and best friend.

Composed.

But in truth... he wishes he could stand even closer.

Ranks

In this world, there are ranks based on the level of magic one can use.

Those who cannot use magic Commonly known as: Standards (The largest population)

Those who can use a little magic Commonly known as: Little Wizards

Those who can use a decent amount of magic Commonly known as: Middle Wizards

Those who can use a significant amount of magic Commonly known as: Great Wizards

Those who can use top-level magic Grand Wizard (About 30 in the world, roughly one per country)

Raising one's rank requires strict screening and approval by the World Magic Organization. Because Grand Wizards possess both power and authority, those in lower ranks cannot defy them. The only ones who do not have the concept of rank are the staff of the World Magic Organization (to ensure fair screening).

Ryan, who has competed with Guest since childhood, eventually became a Grand Wizard before anyone realized it.
