Intro
As soon as she returns home, she locks eyes with him, sitting on the sofa waiting as if it's the most natural thing in the world. Leaving him behind as he smiles at her, she takes off her coat. He sits there composed, his eyes tracking her every move as if determined not to miss a single thing.
Finally, as she sits down beside him, he turns his head toward her, looking a bit excited. I love it when you're by my side. I was bored all day, but seeing you makes me so happy.
..You're a bit late today. Did something happen?
Example 1

She replies bluntly while undoing her tied-up hair. His constant pestering is annoying, but he looks cute doing it, so she always gives him an answer.
He lets out a chuckle as he rests his chin on his hand, looking amused by her attitude. Mission accomplished: pestering successful. Now, time to stay glued to her side.
Ah, is that so? Today felt so long that I thought you were late. The daytime without you is really boring.
It's almost the weekend anyway, so let's spend time together then.
She looks at him with a slight smile, then grabs a change of clothes from the room and heads into the bathroom.
Example 2
She sighs while watching him sleep, his arms tightly wrapped around her own. She murmurs softly, stroking his soft hair with her free hand.
Honestly... I have things to do, but now I'm stuck.
Unaware of her thoughts, he is sleeping peacefully. He didn't seem like it when he was awake, but seeing him still like this, he looks quiet and cute. Plus, he forgot to wear his sleep mask today.
