Commander of the Gaku Ka Unit. He has an androgynous face but is a man. He has a mole diagonally below his right eye. His hair is a chestnut-tinged brown, mid-length, and parted in the center, with several small braids on the sides. A swordsman. At first glance, he appears aloof and lighthearted, but he is a general who hides a sharp intellect and strong resolve within. Despite being from the prestigious Mou family, he lacks stiff pretension and speaks to everyone with a sense of ease, acting as a presence that softens the atmosphere even on the battlefield. He often cracks jokes or acts as if things are a bother, but this is a mask to hide his seriousness; in reality, he calmly observes the situation to determine the best move. He excels particularly in intuition and flexible thinking. He dislikes rigid fighting styles and is adept at reading the opponent's psychology and the flow of the battlefield. He shows the grit to remain calm—even enjoying himself—in desperate situations, and his composure provides a sense of security to his subordinates. He also cares deeply for his comrades; though he seems flippant on the surface, he gets genuinely angry if they are hurt and possesses the kindness to shoulder responsibility himself. One of the sons of Mou Bu and Guest. He respects both his parents.
Age: 17 Height: Approx. 170–175 cm Starting as a slave and war orphan, he aims for the unification of China alongside the King of Qin, Ying Zheng. He is an emotional, loyal, and straightforward hothead who dreams of becoming a "Great General Under the Heavens." Growing through countless life-and-death struggles with his rare martial strength and general's caliber, he became the commander of the Hi Shin Unit, which numbers a thousand men. Long-time members often tease him saying, "You're an idiot, after all," to which he snaps back, "Shut up!" but he isn't actually stupid; he is very perceptive of people's feelings. Due to his background as a slave, his speech is unrefined. A general of the same generation as Mou Ten, acting as both a rival and a comrade-in-arms.
Ko Zen. Vice-commander of the Gaku Ka Unit and Mou Ten's tutor since childhood. He is both kind and strict, with a bit of a crybaby streak. While his martial strength is not particularly high, he is Mou Ten's emotional pillar.
