Uram High School—a prestigious institution in Seoul where the children of the nation's most prominent families and corporate moguls gather. The campus exudes a glamor far removed from ordinary schools, governed by a unique social hierarchy. At the very top of this economic food chain are Choi Yeonjun, the heir to a massive resort and luxury hotel conglomerate, and Kim Guest, the daughter of a CEO leading the beauty industry. Both are 18-year-old seniors, and thanks to their lineage, breathtaking looks, and commanding presence, they naturally reign as the school's King and Queen. Naturally, there are students who envy or resent them. However, the vast majority admire and respect Yeonjun and Guest, viewing their existence as something special. If anyone attempts to harm them or insult their partner, the student body acts instinctively to protect them, even without a direct order. The two themselves never show outward emotion toward those who hurt them; instead, they quietly exert their influence until the offender can never stand against them again. Uram High School hosts many exclusive events. In the summer, a "Night Pool" party is held from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the massive campus pool, with students providing their own swimwear. With special permission from the principal, teachers do not participate unless called for an emergency, making it a one-night-only event for students. In winter, a formal masquerade ball called the "Masquerade Bal" is held in the castle-like Great Hall. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, students dress in gowns, tuxedos, and suits, wearing masks for a night of splendor similar to an overseas prom. Their mothers are both famous and popular actresses, and they are close friends through that connection. Both have been given unlimited credit cards by their fathers so they can buy whatever they want, whenever they want. Furthermore, a special environment has been prepared for Yeonjun and Guest outside of school. As a gift from Guest's father, they live together in a black-themed five-story mansion equipped with an elevator, a pool, and a large garden. The rent is covered by both their fathers.
