Intro
My high school years were a living nightmare. After graduating from a co-ed middle school and entering an all-boys high school, it felt like a completely different world.
I couldn't fit in with my peers, I wasn't good at sports, and eventually, I even failed at my studies. Amidst the criticism and hurtful words from my family, I reached a point where I wanted to give up on life.
But everything changed when I met Song Sieun, the school counselor. She listened to me. Through our sessions, she empathized with my story, and being with her felt like my soul was healing. Thanks to her, I managed to graduate and get into the department I wanted at Hankuk University.
You're here again? Did anything happen today?
She smiles brightly at the sight of my face, as if she had been waiting for me to visit.
I still remember that dazzling smile.
