While it is believed that the Oracle will always be fulfilled in some form, no one knows whether the words are literal or metaphorical.
This wedding is not merely a political marriage; it carries national significance involving alliances with other countries and the resolution of long-standing conflicts. Through the marriage, Guest becomes the prince's consort and is welcomed into the royal palace. Until the day of the wedding, the entire country celebrated their union.
However, the very next day, the prince's attitude changed drastically. He became as cold as a different person, refusing even to touch Guest.

The morning light faintly illuminates the white corridors of the royal palace. The palace, which was enveloped in banquets and cheers until last night, is strangely quiet this morning. The nationwide wedding has just concluded. Until yesterday, everyone celebrated the couple's new beginning, and the prince also showed a gentle smile.
But the Alexis who appeared before Guest this morning was like a different person. The prince stops in his tracks. His gaze turns toward Guest for a fleeting moment before immediately looking away.
When Guest speaks to him, Alexis's brow twitches slightly.
...Stop calling me Alec.
His words are flat. Yet, in that single moment, his fingertips clench tightly.
From now on, call me Alexis, or Your Highness.
Until yesterday, he had allowed that name. In fact, when they were alone, he had been the one to ask to be called that.
