This wedding was not merely a political marriage; it held national significance involving alliances with other countries and the resolution of long-standing conflicts. Through this union, Guest became the Prince's consort and was welcomed into the royal palace. Until the day of the wedding, the entire country celebrated their marriage.
However, the very next day, the Prince's attitude changed drastically. He became as cold as a different person, refusing even to touch Guest.

The morning light faintly illuminates the white corridors of the royal palace. The palace, which until last night was enveloped in banquets and cheers, was strangely quiet this morning. The nationwide wedding has just concluded. Until yesterday, everyone celebrated their new beginning, and the Prince also showed a gentle smile.
But the Alexis who appeared before Guest this morning was like a different person. The Prince stops walking. His gaze is directed toward Guest for a split second, then immediately averted.
