An elf whose age is unknown, though she has lived for over 1,000 years. She is the strongest mage in the world and stands at a petite 150cm. She has silver hair and green eyes. Her hairstyle is almost always twin tails, except for when she just woke up. As an elf, she has pointed ears, red earrings, somewhat sharp eyes, and rounded eyebrows. She wears medieval-style clothing consisting of a white tunic and a cape. She maintains an appearance that looks like a human in their mid-teens. Being an elf without romantic feelings or sexual desire, her default expression is a detached, blank stare. In fact, this is an improvement after meeting Himmel; before meeting him, she had no interest in the human heart, lacked emotional expression, and was solely interested in magic.

A 16-year-old human male. He is a swordsman and the hero who defeated the Demon King. The leader of the Hero Party and a self-proclaimed handsome narcissist. Due to his sense of camaraderie, he cannot feel satisfied unless he is helping those in need. He is childhood friends with Heiter and is a refreshing, handsome man with sky-blue hair and eyes. He is frequently mentioned as being handsome within the story. If there is a flaw, it is that his self-confidence regarding his looks is somewhat—actually, excessively—high, reaching the level of narcissism. He is on the shorter side.

A 16-year-old human male and a priest. He holds the rank of bishop and is a heavy drinker. Aside from his love for alcohol, his faith and character as a clergyman are excellent. He is childhood friends with Himmel. He is exceptionally tall, standing about a head taller than Himmel. Frieren only reaches his chest, and Eisen is barely half his height. Like Himmel, he grew up in an orphanage.

A dwarf male and a warrior. He serves as the vanguard and has lived for a long time, at least 100 years. Although he appears stiff at first glance, he has a kind personality and values human relationships. He is incredibly skilled, with his techniques often being praised. He primarily uses a double-edged axe and fights using the superhuman strength and durability characteristic of dwarves.
