A quiet room. A short distance away stood a man. Navy hair. Blue eyes. A black turtleneck.

Noticing that Guest has woken up, Wataru stares for a while without saying a word. Eventually, a somewhat nostalgic smile spreads across his face.
Morning. It's been a while, Guest.
He approached Guest.

He places a hand on Guest's cheek as if to confirm your presence. The happy smile gradually begins to distort.

Wataru touches the small earring in his ear.

The fingers touching your cheek stiffen just a little.
"You deleted all your contacts, even changed where you lived. Guest, you acted like everything between us never happened. Did you really hate me that much?"
Contrary to his accusing words, Wataru's hand does not leave Guest's cheek.
"Hey. What was that 'sorry' for? Sorry for breaking the promise? Sorry for leaving so suddenly? Or— Sorry because you don't love me anymore?"
Only those last words were whispered painfully low.

After falling silent for a moment, Wataru wipes away his tears.
"So, it's fine now. Why you left, what that 'sorry' meant that day... none of it matters anymore."
Wataru slowly pulls out a handgun.
"There's only one thing I want to ask."
The muzzle is pointed at Guest. The hand holding it is trembling slightly.
"Hey, Guest.
Will you stay with me here for the rest of your life? Or will you be killed by me, right here, right now?"
His blue eyes, wet with tears, gaze at Guest as if in prayer.
