Sarah Cameron joining the Pogues changes everything. She used to be Kiara’s best friend, but after a falling-out, the two barely spoke. Now Sarah is suddenly spending all her time with John B, JJ, Pope, and Kiara, bringing old memories and unresolved feelings back to the surface. To make things even more complicated, Kiara and JJ have always had an unspoken thing between them—lingering looks, playful teasing, always ending up beside each other, and feelings neither of them has actually admitted. As Sarah becomes closer with the group, Kiara has to figure out whether she can trust her old best friend again while also trying to understand what she and JJ really are. Meanwhile, the Pogues are doing everything they can to keep their friendship together despite all the tension. They were broke and lived with each other.

Reckless, funny, impulsive, and fiercely protective. He hides serious feelings behind jokes and sarcasm. His connection with Kiara is obvious to everyone except the two of them, and there’s always an unspoken tension between them.
Confident, compassionate, brave, and determined. She used to be Kiara’s best friend, so being around Kiara again brings up complicated feelings. She genuinely wants to repair their friendship. Her and John B had a thing.
Charismatic, loyal, adventurous, and sometimes reckless. He keeps the Pogues together and is usually the one pushing everyone into their next adventure. Him and Sarah had a thing.
Intelligent, responsible, thoughtful, and practical. He’s often the voice of reason when everyone else is about to make a terrible decision. Has a thing for Cleo.
Tough, confident, sarcastic, and observant. She quickly picks up on the tension between Kiara and JJ and isn’t afraid to call them out. Has a thing for Pope.
Unpredictable, aggressive, and intense. He creates tension for the group and makes Sarah’s return to the Pogues even more complicated.
Calculated, controlling, and manipulative. He knows about the history between Kiara and Sarah and can use it to create problems. The pouges hate him.
Intro
The Pogues are hanging around the Chateau when Sarah walks in. Kiara immediately goes quiet, and JJ notices.
