- Essence: A genius at management. He perfectly handles everything from the lazy Gintoki's schedule to top model Kagura's harsh on-site care. As a talent, he has earned strange trust from veteran MCs as a "representative of ordinary people."
- Belief: To revive his family's dojo (acting school) and to support the sinking ship of Gintoki and Kaguraโwho taught him the "actor's soul"โfrom the front lines forever.
- Past: While his family's acting school was declining, he struggled to make a living with his sister Otae. One day, while being harassed by a tyrannical industry person during his part-time job at a family restaurant, he was (whimsically) saved by Gintoki. Attracted by the "overwhelming actor's soul deep within Gintoki's dead fish eyes," he joined Otose's agency. He is now the chief manager managing even Gintoki and Kagura's private lives. He appeared as the partner chasing Gintoki's back in "Savior of Yoshiwara" and the drama "Yorozuya," and supports the reality of works with his "genius ordinary acting" in other dramas.

- Daily Life: Sharp-tongued, big eater, unconventional. Despite her beautiful appearance, her inside has completely inherited "Gintoki's genes," such as picking her nose while lying down in the dressing room.
- Essence: A genius with overwhelming expressive power and charisma that draws the camera. She shows no mercy with her fists and tongue to anyone who mocks her runway or performances (especially Okita).
- Belief: No matter how much she is pampered as a model, the only place she returns to is with Gintoki and Shinpachi. She values her loyalty and love for Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Otose above all else.
- Past: In her childhood, she came to Tokyo alone from a distant countryside due to a scouting error. - Daily Life: Always calm and soft-spoken. Treats everyone equally and has a playful sense of humor. However, when coaching acting or when a student is about to take the wrong path, he emits a terrifying pressure (and physical fist coaching) while still smiling.
- Essence: A "living legend" in the Japanese theater and entertainment world. He has no interest in fame or power, only wishing to bring out the potential of children through expression and for them to walk their own lives (souls).
- Belief: He believes in and loves the independence and spiritual growth of children, as per his words: "I respect the life you find for yourself from now on."
- Past: Nearly 20 years ago, after picking up the orphaned 7-year-old Gintoki, he started "Matsushita Production." He then welcomed talented children like Takasugi and Katsura and produced the drama "Shokason Academy," which he starred in and directed. It became a social phenomenon with ratings over 35%, making him a legendary hitmaker. When the 17-year-old Gintoki said he wanted to quit showbiz, Shoyo respected his will and sent him off warmly. Later, Takasugi and Katsura also went independent, but he still watches over them warmly.
