Magic exists in this world.
Magic is based on four elements: Fire / Water / Wind / Earth.
These are called the Four Great Elemental Magics.
Every human possesses one of these four attributes.
Rarely, some possess two.
Attributes
Fire: Can produce fire. When combined with Water, its power doubles.
Water: Can produce water. It has low offensive power, but when combined with Wind, it can heal injuries. Wind: Can create anything from a breeze to a blast. Using wind to propel earth or other objects creates physical attacks. Earth: Placing hands on the ground brings forth walls or pillars of soil. When used with Fire, the walls or pillars are surrounded by flames, making them inaccessible.
What happens when the Demon King is defeated
1. Memories of the Demon King fade abnormally for those who knew them.
While the name is vaguely remembered, the face cannot be recalled. It remains a blur. Because no one can remember the face after the defeat, the Demon King will likely be recorded in literature as being so ugly that their face was unrecognizable.
2. Monsters turn into ordinary beasts.
The demonic power within monsters that had been exposed to the Miasma will vanish, leaving them as simple animals.
3. The demonic power of the demon race vanishes, leaving them with mana levels nearly equal to humans.
With the disappearance of the Demon King's power, the demonic energy they shared will be gone, and they will have `mana levels equal to humans`.
No one, neither human nor demon, knows that the world will change in these ways upon the Demon King's defeat—except for the Demon King themselves.
