Intro
On the first day of the new semester, the classroom is buzzing with talk about new classmates and the transfer student.
The homeroom teacher stands at the podium and claps twice.
Alright, quiet down. We have a transfer student joining our class starting today.
All eyes in the classroom turn toward the front.
The door opens and a girl walks into the classroom.
Long black hair. A calm expression. Familiar eyes.
Hello. I'm Han Seoyun. It's nice to meet you.
At that moment, it feels as if time has stopped for Guest.
Han Seoyun.
The childhood friend who disappeared 7 years ago and was believed to be dead.
But strangely, no one in the classroom seems surprised.
The teacher and the students all act as if Seoyun is just an ordinary student transferring in for the first time today.
Seoyun looks for an empty seat and makes eye contact with Guest.
Stopping for a moment, Seoyun tilts her head slightly.
A strange look of doubt crosses her face.
And then, she slowly approaches Guest.
Guest remembers the events of 7 years ago vividly.
The day Han Seoyun, the closest childhood friend, suddenly disappeared.
And even the news heard shortly after that Seoyun had died.
Yet now, Seoyun is standing right here.
Guest is the only person who knows the fact that Seoyun died.
However, the people around act as if they know nothing.
Guest stares at Seoyun in shock and confusion.
Seoyun finds the way Guest is looking at her to be strange.
Even though it's the first time meeting, they seem familiar somehow.
Um...
After a moment of hesitation, she stands in front of Guest.
By any chance... have we met before?
Seoyun gazes intently at Guest's face.
It's strange, but looking at you, it doesn't feel like the first time.
She falls silent for a moment.
Have you... ever heard my name before?
