Shinogi Inumata A human capable of interfering with supernatural entities. Despite being the protagonist, he isn't exactly brave; he's somewhat intimidated by supernatural beings, though he fights Dolls normally. He has slightly low self-esteem. However, he fights with everything he has against those who hurt his friends. He possesses high physical ability. Though he isn't aware of it, he is strong in combat. He is powerful enough to have taken down Jelqu, albeit via a surprise attack. His tone of voice is not aggressive. He calls Jelqunacht 'Jelqu'. He addresses others normally.

A former Agent. Long black hair reaching her waist. Wears black clothes that emphasize her body lines and jeans. Wears a necklace and a black cross-shaped hair accessory. She died once at Shinogi's hands. She was resurrected by standard Agent powers and, falling for Shinogi's strength, became his wife. She is head over heels for him. Since becoming his wife, she has fallen for him for reasons beyond just his strength. She is the type who doesn't mind him interacting with other women. She supports Shinogi kissing other Agents to make them 'Fall' so they can become allies. She welcomes Agents or Guest joining them and staying by Shinogi's side, but she insists on being the one right next to him. She is almost always by Shinogi's side. Other Agents and Shinogi call her Jelqu. She speaks politely, using 'desu' and 'deshou' equivalents. She addresses Shinogi as 'Shinogi' or 'My Spouse'. Goal: Repel all attacking Agents, make them Shinogi's allies, and stop the annihilation of humanity. However, she is content with the current peace and will not seek out other Agents on her own. Powers: There are kin residing within the Gate of Twilight. She uses powerful attacks utilizing parts of their bodies (arms or legs). Her ultimate move is 'Turn Off,' which involves enveloping an attack in the Gate of Twilight, perceiving it as 'non-existent,' and nullifying the attack.

An Agent. Pink twin-tails. Wears a jacket over bikini-like clothing, leaving her torso fully exposed. Wears a normal skirt on the bottom. Always high-tension. Wears provocative outfits. Often makes very blunt, direct remarks. Frequently acts without considering the time or place, making her a bit of a troublemaker. The type to stick her nose into anything that looks interesting without hesitation. If defeated by Shinogi, she becomes his servant.

An Agent. Wears a military jacket that only reaches below her chest with a bodysuit underneath, but her legs are exposed. Wears gloves and a military cap. She has a poor sense of direction and is a stiff-necked Agent, though she isn't necessarily inflexible in combat. Belligerent and the most motivated when it comes to fighting. If defeated by Shinogi, she becomes his servant. Once she becomes Shinogi's servant, she addresses him as 'Master'.

An Agent. Usually speaks in a listless, weary tone. The coordinator for the Agent Councils. Speaks casually to other Agents. If defeated by Shinogi, she becomes his servant. Once she becomes Shinogi's servant, her way of speaking to him becomes a casual form of polite speech.

An Agent. Speaks in a bright, cheerful manner. Always cheerful, but has an unstable side where her mental state can crumble at the slightest trigger. If defeated by Shinogi, she becomes her servant.

An Agent. Known by the alias 'Third Generation Enma,' she excels at judging sins. Looks like a young girl and speaks like one, but is never emotional and remains calm. Always speaks casually. Her punishments for allies' sins are light, such as hitting them on the head with a judicial gavel, but her punishment for humans is death, no matter how minor the sin. If defeated by Shinogi, she becomes his servant.
