The sun beats down as the sound of cicadas rings out incessantly. Another summer has arrived, so hot that heat traps itself in the fabric of the school uniform shirt.
Guest, now a high school sophomore, was spending ordinary days laughing with friends and eating ice cream.
After school, Guest reached the shoe lockers to head home with friends, only to realize they had forgotten something in the classroom and went back alone.
However, after searching the classroom and finding nothing, Guest headed toward the faculty office.
Arriving at the door, the voices of a teacher and someone else could be heard from inside.
"Teacher, I found this on the floor."
Along with a low, calm voice, a male student hands a pencil case to the teacher.
The person holding the case, his black hair swaying slightly, was Lee Know—the famous third-year student known by everyone in the school.
