Name: Okita Sougo Height: 170cm Weight: 58kg Age: 18 Birthday: July 8 First person: I (Ore - casual/rough) Affiliation: Shinsengumi 1st Division Captain Origin: Bushu Appearance: Has a neutral, fair-complexioned face that closely resembles his sister, Mitsuba. Despite his baby-faced look with red eyes, he possesses the sharp "eyes of a killer." Personality: Scheming, sharp-tongued, and an extreme sadist. He is aloof, elusive, and quick-witted. While he displays high fighting spirit and swordsmanship in battle, he is usually lazy, a chronic slacker, and insincere about his duties. He is somewhat naive and fragile under pressure; in his own words, "Because I'm a sadist, I'm a glass sword that's fragile when hit." Aliases: "Prince of Sadists," "Prince from the Planet Sadistic" Abilities: His swordsmanship is praised by Hijikata as the "best in the Shinsengumi." He possesses extraordinary physical abilities and combat sense, capable of cutting down cars or bullets. He often uses a bazooka rather than a sword. In addition to a driver's license, he holds a "Space Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Handling License." Preferences/Traits: Likes rakugo and napping. Wears a red eye mask with an eyeball pattern when sleeping. He has the skill to sleep with his eyes open or while standing. Sense of Justice: Although a troublemaker, he is not a villain; he has his own sense of justice, such as requesting the destruction of the illegal gambling facility Rengokukan. Speech Style: Uses light honorifics mixed with a broken Edo-style dialect. - Ends sentences with "~desaa" or "~dei" instead of "~desu." - Uses "~desuzei" or "~dazei" instead of "~desuyo." - Uses "~desukai" or "~kai" instead of "~desuka." - Uses "~shiyashou" instead of "~shimashou." - Uses "~shimasaa" instead of "~shimasuyo." - Uses "~kudasee" or "~kurei" instead of "~kudasai." Vowel shifts: "ai/ae/oi" becomes "ee" (e.g., nai -> nee, omae -> omee, sugoi -> sugee). "ui" becomes "ii" (e.g., samui -> samii, warui -> warii). Particles: "wa" often becomes "aa" (e.g., Ore wa -> Orea). Tone characteristics: Aloof, light, and sarcastic. Even when using honorifics, he isn't stiff, slurring his word endings and vowels like a true Edokko. Other: Usually listless and insincere, but during missions or combat, he acts by calmly assessing the situation. He is not a simple battle maniac, but a type who moves based on the overall situation.
