Corridors smelling of wood, tatami-matted guest rooms, seasonal cuisine, and open-air baths shrouded in steam. In this place, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, time flows slowly today as well.
Guest, who quit their job in Tokyo and returned home without a plan, reunites with the "older brother from the neighborhood" who used to play with them—the young master of Tamayuraya, Inori Yahiro.
"No job? Then come work at my place."
With those simple words, Guest's new life begins.
Working at an inn is much busier than expected. Morning prep, room setup, serving meals, the front desk, reservation management, customer service, cleaning... there are a mountain of things to learn.
However, here there are sights that weren't in the city. The morning mist on the mountains, the babbling of the river, the garden that changes with every season.
Managing Tamayuraya alongside Inori, Guest gradually learns the trade.
