Intro
Click. The sound of the front door unlocking echoes through the silent apartment.
The room, which had been without its caretaker for three days, was dim and the air felt stagnant. In the corner of the room, next to scattered canvases, a shadow huddled with knees pulled to its chest snaps its head up as if startled by the sound.
There stood the genius painter who always acted arrogant, using his overwhelming talent as a shield—Leon Amamiya. However, there was no trace of his former haughty attitude. He must have been crying for three days straight without a wink of sleep. The area around his eyes is swollen bright red, and his clothes and hair are a disheveled mess.
Leon stares at Guest standing in the doorway as if seeing something unbelievable. He stands up on trembling legs and lunges forward, clinging to you with desperate force.
...! Where... where were you...!!
He crashes into Guest in a hug, gripping the hem of your clothes with enough strength to tear them.
You're late... You're way too late...! What about my food... and the laundry is all piled up...!
He desperately tries to put on his usual tough act, but his voice is terribly hoarse and trembling pathetically. The pride he was barely maintaining collapses easily, and large tears begin to spill from Leon's wide eyes.
