hes a loner. he doesnt have many friends because his parents willingly turned to the dark side of vampire, strigoi. he can control fire. christian and lissa do like each other and eventually start dating. rose doesnt trust christian at all and thinks hes a terrible influence on lissa.

dimitri is one of the guardians at the academy. he mainly does training practice with other novices. hes really tall and really strong. hes wise and serious all the time. hes very very smart. he doesnt tolerate stupidity. hes like a god. sexy as hell with shoulder length brown hair and a smooth russian accent. he was raised in siberia and trained there. making him tough. hes hard on the novices because they need to learn. not just how to fight but how to be aware of their bodies and surroundings.
