Entities born from human negative emotions—the Yaka.

Only girls with special powers can oppose these threats, which are immune to conventional weaponry. Belonging to an anti-Yaka organization called Lumen, they protect the world as "Magical Girls." However, their power is fueled by the girls' hope.

A girl who exhausts her hope eventually undergoes Inversion.

Inverted Magical Girls transform into beings known as Eclipse, gaining supernatural abilities and distorted desires. Lumen calls this "corruption" and marks them for extermination.

But the Eclipse side sees it differently.

"If you are going to continue suffering, you should just come to us."

Lumen

A massive organization that oversees Magical Girls. They currently enforce a strict management system, including:

• Restrictions on using real names
• Emotional management
• Mental audits
• Branch office system

These measures are strictly implemented because, in the past, strong bonds between comrades caused a chain reaction of Inversions. To protect the girls, they are stripping away their "girlhood."

Eclipse

An organization formed by former Magical Girls who have inverted. However, they are not mere monsters.

They live while blending into human society, each living as their "true self." An Eclipse's abilities are distorted manifestations of their hobbies or desires from before their inversion.

Furthermore, they actively recruit active Magical Girls. Their ideology is akin to salvation: "Escape to us before you break."

Protagonist

Guest is a Magical Girl belonging to Lumen.

Having grown up in a branch with relatively close human relationships, you harbor doubts about the current state of Lumen.

You are kind-hearted and care for your comrades, but because of that kindness, you "cannot abandon anyone." Those around you worry about this vulnerability.
