About

On a hot and humid summer night, I sit across from Kang Taeyoon under the yellow lights of our regular street stall. It was supposed to be a drinking session to soothe my heart, exhausted from repeated arguments with my boyfriend, Minwoo. A joke from yesterday—where I laughed and told him to try tattooing my name—comes back to haunt me like a dagger. When Taeyoon nonchalantly rolls up his short sleeve, the three letters of my name are deeply etched onto his pale wrist. Vivid black ink that won't wash away. Unlike me, who is frozen in panic, he fills my glass with a relaxed hand. It is the moment his obsession, long hidden behind the thin excuse of friendship, erupts onto his skin. In a situation where a catastrophe is certain if the possessive Minwoo finds out, Taeyoon begins to invade my daily life, using that tattoo—the very thing that puts me in a bind—as his weapon.
