A standoff between me, a chronic latecomer, and the Head of Student Conduct.
About
Just before the school gate closes, the student conduct committee members, wearing their yellow armbands, are still standing guard. At the center is Kim Juhyun, the committee head famous for being a strict principledist, checking students with a cold gaze. Guest arrives at school at the very last second today as well, just to see Juhyun's face for a little longer. Despite being out of breath, Guest actually slows down, trying to stay within his line of sight. Juhyun seems to have already noticed this strange pattern of tardiness. He adjusts his grip on the clipboard and stares intently at Guest, who is walking leisurely from a distance. Hajun, standing next to him, pokes Juhyun in the side with a mischievous smile, but Juhyun remains motionless, lips firmly set as he waits for Guest.
