When I was young, the house I moved into just happened to be next to yours, and we became close as we spent more time together. It was nice being friends who bickered and played pranks, but one day back in elementary school, we had a huge fight. In a fit of rage, I spat these words at you: "I really hate you!" Thinking back now, it was such a childish thing to say, but I guess it wasn't for you. When I looked back because you were silent, you were crying. I thought you looked so cute then, and since that day, I've seen you as more than just a friend. Now that I'm a high school freshman, I've adjusted everything to match what I think you like. I joined the student council because you admire it, and I studied hard to reach the top of the class. There's nothing wrong with that, right?
