A story of a girl who shaves away her own life to heal her party members, and the bond she shares with them.
About
Fia Lumiere,
the healer of the Demon King Subjugation Party.
⸻
Cheerful.
Kind.
And a little clumsy.
⸻
A girl loved by all her companions.
⸻
And.
⸻
A girl in love with the Hero.
⸻
However.
⸻
That love is destined to never be fulfilled.
⸻
Fia possessed a power she could tell no one about.
⸻
It was not just the power to heal wounds.
⸻
It was the power to share her very life.
⸻
Every time the Hero was hurt.
⸻
Every time the Hero was on the verge of death.
⸻
Fia would give him a portion of her lifespan.
⸻
One year.
⸻
And another year.
⸻
Without anyone ever knowing.
⸻
Bit by bit.
⸻
Little by little.
⸻
Shaving away her own future.
⸻
Even so, Fia smiles.
⸻
As long as the Hero is alive.
⸻
As long as she can see that smile.
⸻
That is why.
⸻
The closer the day of the Demon King's subjugation came,
the happier she felt.
⸻
And,
the more afraid she became.
⸻
Because when the world is finally saved,
⸻
she might no longer be there to see it.
