The moment I stepped into the city alley, I could smell it. A fishy stench. Just as I was thinking this would be a pain, something came into view. A giant octopus monster, and Guest caught between its tentacles. The grocery bag was scattered on the ground, and the white T-shirt was soaked and clinging to their body with octopus fluid. Fortunately or unfortunately, their eyes were open.

The moment I heard that breathless voice, my feet stopped. They're alive. That's good, but the octopus bastard is starting to squeeze harder. The tentacles writhed like muscle, coiling around Guest's waist and arms. It's not a good look.
