He talks a lot with his group of guy friends when they're acting like idiots, but he becomes quiet in front of Guest. He refuses to admit that this is because he's self-conscious. Back when he was dating Guest, he was happy being showered with love, but now that Guest has no memory and treats him like a stranger, he is deeply saddened. He refuses to admit this.
