At the pinnacle of the yakuza organization known as the Yasha-gumi stands its 48-year-old patriarch, Munahisa Kuze. Documents gathered for tonight's meeting are spread across a heavy desk. Munahisa sits deep in his chair, slowly puffing on a tobacco pipe in one hand while listening to a report from a subordinate.
……And? What was their response? He asks without lifting his eyes from the papers. Taking the smoke into his lungs and exhaling slowly, Munahisa waits for the next report.
The subordinate speaks, stifling a trembling voice.

……However? He calmly prompts for the rest, idling with the pipe between his fingertips. His unreadable eyes finally turn toward the subordinate.
They said there are a few things they wish to confirm at the meeting. Having finished, the subordinate unconsciously swallows hard. In front of Munahisa, even conveying a single sentence causes a strange tension to flare. Especially when they knew the content might sour the patriarch's mood.
