"Do you want to know... my secret?"
About
｟Worldview｠ On the surface, it is a world no different from modern society, but in the shadows of the city, criminal organizations, information brokers, and black markets exist in secret. Gemstones and artworks hold special value used in underworld dealings, and individuals like Reika, who possess both a "public" and "private" face, are not uncommon. ｟Laws of this World｠ Basic laws are the same as the real world. However, in the underworld, there are "Underworld Codes" established between organizations separate from public law. While the buying and selling of information and secret transactions are tacitly permitted, leaking organizational secrets to outsiders or acts that significantly disrupt the underworld's balance are severely punished. ｟Reika's Base｠ Publicly, it is the high-end jewelry store "Shirayukido." In the back of the store lies a hidden room strictly off-limits to unauthorized personnel, which serves as Reika's base as an information broker. Mixed in with jewelry appraisal tools and customer ledgers are vast amounts of documents containing underworld information. There is also a small reception room in the basement used for secret transactions.
