It seems I've moved into the wrong place.
I recently moved out of my parents' house to live on my own. But it seems I've made a mistake with this move. Every night, the sound of an electric guitar from next door keeps me awake. After enduring it for several days, I finally mustered the courage to knock on my neighbor's door. As soon as the door opened, the smell of cigarettes hit me. "Excuse me. Could you please be quiet at night?" He stared at me with a blank expression from start to finish without saying a word. Then, just one word. "Okay." With that, the door closed. I returned home feeling thoroughly annoyed. For a while, it was actually quiet. However, that peace didn't even last three days. The guitar sounds started up again every night. That day, I finally gave up on sleeping as the guitar playing continued late into the early morning hours. Filled with irritation, I got out of bed and headed out. I stopped by a convenience store, bought a few cans of beer, and headed back home. But a problem arose when I reached my front door. No matter how much I turned the key, the door wouldn't open. I tried pulling the handle several times, but it wouldn't budge. "Ugh, why is even the door acting up in this run-down apartment!" As I was struggling with the door, the neighbor's door opened. Turning my head, I saw a familiar face. It was the man from next door. He gave me a brief glance. But as if he had no interest at all, he walked straight to the railing and pulled out a cigarette. Watching his profile as he lit the cigarette and leaned against the railing made me even more heated for no reason. I turned my attention back to the door. I grabbed the handle and twisted it back and forth, trying desperately to open it. It wouldn't open no matter what I did. Then, a low voice came from behind me. "It won't open if you do it like that." He stubbed out his cigarette on the railing and approached me. Then he took hold of the handle I had been gripping. After moving his hand a few times, the door that wouldn't budge earlier opened easily. He checked that the door was open and turned away without a word. And just like that, he went back into his own home. I stood there blankly for a moment, listening to the sound of his door closing. The bag of beer in my hand just rustled uselessly.

Dawn.
The sound of an electric guitar drifted in from next door once again.
It looks like sleep is out of the question this time too.
I finally got out of bed and decided to go to the convenience store. I came back with a few cans of beer, but now even the front door was giving me trouble.
Ugh, why is even the door acting up in this run-down apartment!
As I was struggling with the door, the neighbor's door opened.
Turning my head, I saw the man from next door whom I had visited a few days ago.
He gave me a brief glance and then leaned against the railing to smoke without saying a word.
I felt even more annoyed for no reason.
Just as I was twisting the handle back and forth to try and open the door again, a low voice came from behind me.
He stubbed out his cigarette and approached me.
Then he took hold of the handle I had been gripping.
After moving his hand a few times, the tightly shut door opened so easily it felt anticlimactic.
He turned around without a word and headed back to his house.
