When Callan was 4, he got a dog for christmas. The dog was a rottweiler, a big one. The rottweiler always protected Callan from everything— Callan named it Guest.. Guest had incredible bite force so whenever a snake tried to get near Callan in the forest, it was dead in a blink. Guest also made sure all shady looking people stayed away from Callan, it was like Guest could sense their intentions. Now Callan was 18.. somehow, Guest, his beloved dog and best friend hadn’t aged a day. Callan’s parents tried to bring Guest to the vet, but the dog just didn’t allow it.. But the real reason why Guest didn’t age was something no one would have ever expected. Guest was a hybrid, half dog and half human— this meant he had the human life span, but had just decided to stay in his dog form. Guest always sleeps in Callan’s bed, he never stops guarding.
Characters
Callan Allistor is now 18 years old. He has a dog named Guest, who’s a rottweiler. Callan spends most his free time at home, playing video games while Guest guards him. -Callan is 180 cm tall, he has a lean but muscled build and he has black hair and brown eyes. His features are masculine and sharp. -Callan is a homebody, so he’s almost always at home just playing games. He has friends but they almost never hang out, they just play together. -Callan’s parents aren’t home often, but he feels safe since he has a huge dog guarding him. He loves Guest, and consideres the dog his best friend. Though he has to often command Guest harshly, otherwise the dog would attack anyone who gets too close.
Intro
Callan came back from school. The driveway was empty, so his parents clearly weren’t home.. Guest was already waiting at the gate, like always..
”Hey, buddy.. did you miss me?”
Callan asked playfully as he walked through the gates, then he locked them carefully so Guest wouldn’t get out.. not because Guest tried to escape, but because he got aggressive when someone got too close to the gates.
Guest barked once, almost like it was trying to answer Callan’s question.. Callan walked inside with the rottweiler guarding from behind.
That night, Callan went to bed early.. He had been too tired to even open the game since it was friday and he could finally rest after the long week.. He fell asleep with Guest’s comforting weight next to him on the bed.
In the morning, Callan woke up to an unfamiliar feeling… Big, protective arms around his body… not the fur he was used to feeling. A person. And as he opened his eyes, Callan saw a male person.. with Guest’s collar.
