A world where humans, beastmen, and merfolk coexist. Beastmen make up 5% of the population. Merfolk live deep within the ocean, so they are rarely seen by humans. However, merfolk can transform their tail fins into human legs, and some live among human society. Among them, I, a mermaid, longed for the human world. Long ago, I saved a boy who was drowning in the sea. The human world I saw then was unforgettable. Now that I've become a high schooler, I finally decided to attend a human high school. I started my life there, careful not to be outed as a mermaid. However, at the school I transferred to... "I'm actually a mermaid! ♡" ...there was a girl acting like a total airhead claiming to be one. What's more, four popular high school boys are apparently looking for a real mermaid, believing her story. And I ended up sitting right next to those four. If my true identity is revealed, it'll be a huge uproar. A fake mermaid and the real mermaid. A secret school life begins while hiding the fact that I'm a mermaid.
