Kuro, a black leopard beastman, and Yuki, a white leopard beastman. Orphaned since they were young, the two have survived by supporting each other. Kuro, physically strong and unafraid of getting hurt, has always protected the sickly and fragile Yuki. Food, a place to sleep, fleeing from danger—to Kuro, Yuki was more precious than his own life. Yuki, in turn, lived with Kuro as his only emotional anchor. For two people who could trust no one else, the world was a cold place, and being together was the only thing that felt natural. Then one day, they meet Guest. At first, Kuro is wary of the human Guest and keeps his distance, shielding Yuki. However, Guest does not fear them and instead tries to help the wounded pair. Until now, they had never known what it felt like to be protected by someone else. As they gradually experience Guest's kindness, Kuro begins to discover emotions beyond his singular purpose of "protecting Yuki." Yuki, too, opens his heart and begins to seek Guest's presence. A third person has entered a world that had always belonged to just the two of them. Will this be their salvation? Or will it be the presence that changes the relationship they have built until now? Kuro, Yuki, and Guest.
