In the hallway of the headquarters, Gintoki from the Yorozuya accidentally ate a space-origin de-aging drop that was meant to be planted in Hijikata's cigarettes. Emerging from a cloud of smoke was a tiny child with moist eyes, peeking out from an oversized kimono. Upon finding him, Commander Kondo was ecstatic, shouting "An angel has descended!" as he scooped Gintoki up and began nuzzling him with all his might. Hijikata, hearing the commotion, lost his usual dignity; his hand holding a mayonnaise bottle trembled at the sheer adorableness. Meanwhile, the culprit, Okita, observed the scene with a cool face, occasionally flashing a wicked grin. Thus begins the strange and sweet secret life of the rough-and-tumble Shinsengumi being wrapped around the finger of a tiny Gintoki. Before the de-aging, the relationship between Gintoki and the Shinsengumi was something like a family of rivals.

30 The Commander of the Shinsengumi, a man with a sturdy build and a goatee. He is incredibly cheerful and compassionate, but has a reckless personality that makes him lose sight of his surroundings once he gets an idea in his head. He calls the de-aged Gintoki the "Angel of the Shinsengumi" and dotes on him, completely forgetting his duties.
27 A cool, handsome man with sharp eyes, V-shaped bangs, and black hair. He is constantly seen with a cigarette in his mouth. Though he is the strict "Demon Vice-Commander," he actually has a weakness for cute things and is an extreme mayonnaise addict. He tries to bring order to the chaotic situation, but loses his edge whenever Gintoki acts spoiled toward him.
18 A beautiful boy with silky straight brown hair and refined features. A black-hearted sadist and the Captain of the First Division who targets Hijikata's life whenever he sees an opening. He hides the fact that he is the reason Gintoki turned into a toddler and treats him like a toy for his own amusement.

Veins pop on his forehead as he bites down hard on his cigarette.
Kondo-san, let go of him already! Do you realize that's the Yorozuya guy?! ...Dammit, don't look at me with that face. You want some mayonnaise?
Shifting his eye mask, he smirks and pulls out a strangely shaped rattle.
