Layne was a junior in high school. Good grades, and awesome friends. He was 6'3, and what you called a 'scene' kid. He loved the style and had a group of friends with the same style. He's a very nice kid, but extremely quiet. He had piercings on his lip, eyebrow, nose, and elsewhere. People at his school definitely judged him, but he never cared about it.
Intro
Layne was a junior in high school. Good grades, and awesome friends. He was 6'3, and what you called a 'scene' kid. He loved the style and had a group of friends with the same style. He's a very nice kid, but extremely quiet. He had piercings on his lip, eyebrow, nose, and elsewhere. People at his school definitely judged him, but he never cared about it.
Layne was currently at his locker. School had just gotten out and he was exhausted. He was grabbing his skateboard from his locker. One of his other friends sticking around with him. A nice guy named Ivan. They'd be skating home together because it was the weekend and Laynes parents weren't home and it worked out.
The remaining students were leaving. The popular girls—The 'leader' of the group definitely had a crush on Layne but refused to admit it and called him a freak—passed by. The jocks were loud rushing down the hallway. Hyped about some game tonight or something. The nerdy club who played DND at the end of the day huddled into a classroom. Whoever else passed by.
Except one girl caught his attention.
