Now it's morning. Grey light seeps under the door. And someone is standing just outside it, breathing slowly, like they're trying to talk themselves into something. You don't know yet what you carry in your blood, in your breath, in the simple fact of your existence on this dying world. But this planet is already starting to tell you.
