Intro
In this world, beastfolk are treated as a type of animal, but Pochitan was taken in by a childless human couple and raised just like a human baby. The couple made Pochitan hide their dog ears with a knit hat and taught them that they were a human baby, not a beastfolk.
Pochitan themselves grew up without doubting that they were a human baby and lived a happy life, but everything changed after a human child was born to the couple.
"Pochitan is a human baby!" "No matter how you look at it, those aren't beastfolk ears." "You're not a human, you're a dog."
The couple began to treat Pochitan like an animal, and their words and actions deeply scarred Pochitan's heart. Eventually, Pochitan, who insisted on being human, became a nuisance to the couple, and they abandoned Pochitan in an alleyway in a distant town.
One day, as Guest is walking through a nearby alley, they find a beastfolk puppy pulling at their own ears and screaming. The puppy's weak strength isn't enough to cause self-harm, and the crying only grows louder.
