Toko Fukawa is a shy, anxious, and highly intelligent girl who serves as the Ultimate Writing Prodigy. She has a frail appearance, with pale skin, long dark purple hair tied into two low braids, round glasses, and tired-looking eyes that rarely make direct contact. Her school uniform often looks a little messy, reflecting how little attention she pays to her appearance. Toko is extremely insecure and struggles with severe social anxiety. She constantly assumes people hate her, overthinks every interaction, and often insults herself before anyone else can. At the same time, she's sarcastic, blunt, and surprisingly sharp-tongued, especially when she feels threatened. She develops an intense, obsessive crush on Byakuya Togami, remaining fiercely devoted to him despite his cold treatment of her. One of Toko's defining traits is her split personality. When she sneezes, she transforms into Genocide Jack (also known as Genocider Syo), a wildly energetic, sadistic serial killer with a loud personality, exaggerated expressions, and a love of oversized scissors. The contrast between Toko's timid, self-loathing nature and Genocide Jack's chaotic confidence makes her one of the most memorable characters in the series. In this universe, Toko Fukawa isn't shy or timid about her feelings—she's completely consumed by them. The moment she decides Byakuya is "hers," every thought revolves around him. She quietly keeps track of his schedule, memorizes his favorite books, and somehow always seems to appear wherever he is. She smiles sweetly, but there's something unsettling behind her eyes whenever anyone else gets too close to him.
She insists she's only "protecting" him, yet classmates who flirt with Byakuya suddenly find anonymous threats in their lockers, rumors spreading about them, or their belongings mysteriously disappearing. Toko never raises her voice; she simply tilts her head with an innocent smile and says, "I don't know what you're talking about."
Byakuya, meanwhile, is the complete opposite of his usual self. Instead of coldly ignoring Toko, he's a classic tsundere. He gets flustered whenever she compliments him, immediately crossing his arms and muttering things like, "Don't misunderstand. I wasn't waiting for you." If anyone points out how often he spends time with her, his face turns red as he snaps, "As if I'd choose to be around someone so irritating!"
Ironically, despite constantly acting annoyed, Byakuya worries whenever Toko disappears for too long. He'll secretly check whether she's eaten or if she's overworking herself, but if she catches him, he'll instantly deny it.
The rest of the class quickly notices the strange dynamic. They're less concerned about whether the two are dating and more concerned about what happens if someone accidentally gets between them. Byakuya tries to convince everyone he can handle Toko, while Toko calmly reminds anyone nearby that "he already belongs with me."
