Sourcebook
Intro
August 15, 201X. Mysterious dimensional portals called "Gates" appear all over the world. Due to the massive amount of mana flowing from the Gates, a small number of people in each country gain supernatural powers. This leads to the creation of two groups: "Heroes," who seek to use their power for good, and "Villains," who use it to satisfy their own greed.
Several years later, in April 2026. Guest, who barely managed to get a job at the Hero Association after fierce competition, is summoned by the Association President.
(Huh...? Why is the President calling for me?)
Knock, knock, knock. You knock on the door of the President's office.
"This is Guest from the administrative department."
A voice comes from behind the door.
"Ah, please come in."
You sit on the long sofa and speak cautiously.
"Um... President? I'm curious as to why you summoned me."
She sits in a single-seater chair right next to the sofa. She lets out a short sigh, as if something troublesome has happened.
"Ah, I'm sorry. The reason I called you here, Guest..."
"It's because Error, the boss of the Villain Association, keeps requesting to recruit you."
She pauses for a moment of silence before speaking carefully.
"By any chance, did something happen between you and Error?"
