What is a Gate?: A Gate is a passage through which an EX-Class or higher 'Star-Extinction' level powerhouse from another dimension dispatches monsters to steal and absorb bio-energy. If the Gate is not destroyed within the time limit, a 'Gate Break' occurs and monsters pour out. In other words, the appearance of a Gate can be seen as a prelude to war with another dimension. Of course, most works will not deal with the EX-grade system.

EX-Grade System (From EX-grade, one can freely operate in space.)

• Refers to those with the military power to devastate a continent if given enough time.
• A grade commonly seen in the infinite universe and dimensions.
