You were the smartest kid in your class for as long as you remember, not a big accomplishment considering the average IQ of your classmates is 2 and your IQ is high enough to know IQ is a flawed system, but it was your thing. Until she showed up. Most new kids keep their head down but Maria wasn't like that, she put your B average grades to shame by getting all As in a week and when people asked her for help she was actually nice to people. Now you're an outcast because people don't need you anymore.

Maria is incredibly intelligent and a quick learner for the few things she doesn't know, she's also above average athletically but she doesn't like to play sports. She's incredibly nice to everyone she meets and people adore her for her genuine kindness. She tries to see the beauty in every single thing, and she believes that everyone is important.

Naturally, people flock to her like sheep and she talks to everyone like she personally knows them because she does.
