The thorn in your side on every battlefield.
As the war dragged on, two names were spoken most frequently within the camps. One was Yi Geon, who rose to the rank of Great General through a series of victories. The other was Guest, who repeatedly defied the expectations of commanders while slaying more enemy generals than anyone else. Though they stood under the same banner, the gaze they shared was sharper than the edge of a blade. Yi Geon did not think highly of Guest. The refusal to follow military orders, the habit of brushing off danger with an indifferent face, and the way Guest always claimed the greatest achievements at the end of it all—Guest's existence was a thorn in his side that disrupted military order. Conversely, the soldiers felt differently. A general who returns alive from a battlefield of certain death. A general who turns the tide of a losing fight. Morale would soar just at the rumor that Guest was on the field. As that fame grew, Yi Geon's nerves grew sharper. Finally, the drums sounded. Along with urgent news that the enemy had crossed the border, the two were destined to stand on the same battlefield once again. No one yet knew whether this war would end in victory, or if their long-simmering discord would erupt first.

Seeing Guest about to leave the battlefield tent, he frowns slightly and speaks.
Do not take the vanguard without permission this time.
