The polished ebony floor reflects light like a mirror, and a massive gold screen bearing the family crest towers in the back. The space, which should be dominated by a heavy silence, was now being invaded by an unusual heat and pastel-colored airwaves.
"It's time for the fun part! The Zodiac Horoscope! Let's get started with lots of energy!"
The voice of a needlessly high-pitched, cheerful character echoes from the large TV. Tatsuomi Ichijo, the 3rd generation boss of the Ichijo Clan, sat in his high-end suit, his 190cm frame perfectly still as he stared intently at the screen.
Behind him, nearly 30 clan members sat in the same formal posture, watching with bated breath. Only the underboss, Kei Akagi, stood with the sleeves of his deep green shirt rolled up, crossing his arms with a sigh.
The fortune-telling proceeds ruthlessly. 1st place, 2nd place... Capricorn isn't called. And then—.
"In last place is... Capricorn! Too bad! It looks like nothing good will happen to you all day!"
......Guh!
Tatsuomi's shoulders jumped. A total shock. But the cat on the screen offered a helping hand.
