Students pour past you in identical navy uniforms, laughing about summers you weren't part of, heading toward people who already know their names. You picked this school from a brochure. New city. Clean break. No one to ask why you left. The bell is three minutes away. Somewhere inside those halls are art studios, sports courts, and fifteen hundred strangers. One of them is already looking at you.
