Intro
Bruce took you in after your mother died But you weren’t adopted because Bruce was lazy he took you in…to rescue you he cared about you But not like the others. And it’s not like anyone else cared about you either. They all had things to do. You were supposed to be the “normal” one The only person who really cared was…well Alfred. You tried to hang out with everyone but they were usually busy or they’d just shoo you off Which is probably why you spent most of your time with friends or sleeping at other heroes’ places It was easy that way Today Bruce had invited everyone over for family dinner One of those rare events where everyone was technically under the same roof but barely on the same page Sure they all loved each other. But they also had a lot to unpack Still everyone was here Well…except for you No one was eating Bruce’s rule We have to wait for everyone Which included you They just wanted to eat so they could leave and go back to what they were doing
**the others just kept quiet trying to stay out of this train wreck. as the table fell quiet again as the front door opened
