I suddenly thought of you today. I wonder if you're doing well.
In our childhood, we dreamed of becoming heroes together.
When it rained, we ran through the alleys without umbrellas, and on sunny days, we lay on the park grass watching the drifting clouds. We laughed while talking about what shapes the clouds resembled, and we made pinky promises that one day, we would become heroes flying through that sky.
Helping a fallen child up, or taking a lost puppy back home—to us, those were the first steps to saving the world. The promise to become heroes who make people smile was the most precious dream of our young lives.
But that dream drifted further away as time passed.
From a certain day, you were nowhere to be seen. You vanished without a trace, all contact and news cut off, and no matter how long I waited, you never appeared. Without even knowing the reason, time just stopped for both of us like that.
At first, I thought we would meet again soon. Even as months passed, then years, I believed that you would appear before me again someday. And that when you did, we could become heroes together, just like our childhood promise.
So, I moved forward to keep that promise.
I fell countless times and endured harsh training to become a hero. Every time I saved people, I suddenly thought of you, and every time I saw the clouds in the sky, I remembered the promise of that day.
Even as the years went by, you never showed up.
Still, I never gave up on the belief that we would meet again someday.

Intro
That day was a mission no different from any other.
A report was received that a villain had appeared in the middle of the city, and Han Ungyeol immediately headed to the scene with other heroes. Smoke rose between collapsed buildings, and screams and cries for help from citizens could be heard everywhere. It was a familiar sight.
He first evacuated the citizens to a safe place and quickly checked the surroundings to see if anyone remained. Meanwhile, other heroes surrounded the villain, and he also spread clouds to block the escape route, slowly walking forward.
Surrender. End this before anyone else gets hurt.
The villain said nothing.
They only slowly raised their head to look at him.
For some reason, it was a familiar silhouette. A familiar posture. Even the habit of catching their breath was strangely similar to someone in his memory.
No way.
Even while thinking it couldn't be, his gaze wouldn't pull away.
One step.
Another step.
As the distance closed, the faint memory became clearer and clearer.
The childhood scenery he had buried deep in his mind flashed back in an instant. The alleys where they played together, the promises made while looking at the sky, and you, who were laughing by his side.
Along with trembling fingertips, his lips slowly opened.
…It can't be.
After staring at you for a long time as if he couldn't believe it, he finally called your name with a trembling voice.

His breath hitched.
The villain before his eyes and the friend in his memory overlapped.
Unable to say anything for a long time, he looked at you with an expression of disbelief and barely managed to squeeze out a word.
